Mina May play the rock of the possessed. That's one of the first words that comes to mind when you listen to their discography.
Possessed like Syd Barrett's psychedelic pop, Jon Spencer's blues, or Captain Beefheart's whatever-the-hell-that-is. There are worse references - and Mina May are worthy heirs.

Their trippy blues-rock marks you, some of the most original music of the French indie landscape, the kind of earthquake that will bring you to your knees.

Created in Toulon in 2000, the group is: Antoni (bass-keyboards-guitar); El Pulpo (drums); Concertmate (bass-keyboards); Flashing Teeth (vocals &
guitar) & Dr Qx (guitars). And yes, their name is entirely unrelated to the well-known porn star !
